Gemma is a Northern Irish actress who graduated from Arts Educational Schools, London BA(hons) Musical Theatre.

currently based in Dubai working as Head of Acting/Singing with Urdang International and Vocal Director of Wellington Singing Scholars Gemma is passionate about the world of Performing Arts Education, With a background in performance and a deep commitment to nurturing talent, Gemma has played a pivotal role in establishing vocational Performing Arts training within schools across the Middle Eastern region. Embarking on a career that has taken her around the globe; NOw in her current roles, she understands the importance of vocational training in shaping well-rounded performers, fostering confidence, and preparing students for success in a Very competitive industry.

gemma believes in the ethos of ongoing education herself, currently studying AN MA in Vocal Pedagogy with the Voice Study Centre.

While she loves working internationally, gemma remains deeply passionate about her roots IN IRELAND. THE ultimate goal Working with Brigid is to bring the benefits of vocational training and enrich the performing arts landscape across NI. through WEST END WEEKENDS, Gemma hopes to shape the future of performing arts LOCALLY AND INSPIRE THE NEXT GENERATION OF PERFORMERS. 

Brigid Shine

Brigid trained as a teacher at St Mary’s University college, Belfast and taught in both the middle east and london, before completing a Master’s in musical theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Brigid is proud to be bringing west end weekends to belfast in 2024. Growing up in county armagh, she was lucky to have been inspired by a number of excellent teachers, directors and youth theatre organisations who gave her the confidence and skills to pursue a career in the performing arts.

Brigid hopes that West End Weekends can have a similar impact on young performers today.
